Center for Therapeutic Riding of the East End (CTREE) is a not-for-profit (501c3) organization located on the eastern end of Long Island, New York and is a premier accredited member center of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.). CTREE provides therapeutic riding lessons and equine assisted activities to children and adults with emotional, cognitive and physical disabilities. Lesson fees only cover a small portion of the care for the animals and CTREE will never turn away a rider.
COVID-19 EFFORTS
CTREE's Horses Heal Program is a new CTREE program being instituted this summer in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is provided free of charge to medical personnel, first responders, military families and other frontline essential workers, as well as our CTREE families. Participants can groom a horse, have a picnic with our horses, learn to halter and lead a horse or quietly graze them. CTREE scholarship covers all fees.
